Iona Capital Ltd, an established investor in the bioenergy sector, is pleased to announce that two of its current AD (Anaerobic Digestion) developments, Leeming Biogas and St Boswells Biogas, both achieved initial biomethane injection into the UK gas distribution network in June. This is a significant milestone in the development of a project as it fixes the price subsidy under the RHI mechanism for the 20 year life of the project. The two plants have the combined potential to inject up to 1500 cubic metres of biomethane per hour into the gas network. Both projects have been delivered ahead of schedule mainly due to the commitment and application of our civil and technology partners in both projects.
