St Boswells Biogas

Deal Overview

The facility injects over 3 million m3 of biomethane into the local gas grid each year and produces digestate, which is spread on local farmlands.

The project benefits from the government’s RHI biomethane and FIT tariffs.

Scotia Gas Networks sourced the network entry equipment and oversaw the project’s connection to the gas grid. The facility is operated by Iona Management Services Caledonia Ltd.

Waverley Farm Contracts, a wholly-owned subsidiary of St Boswells Biogas, sources local feedstock supplies on a long-term basis for the facility.
